Metronet BCV Ltd

Metronet BCV Ltd provide a service to London Underground Ltd (LUL) under the Private Public Partnership that provides maintenance and replacement of assets.  There are 4 companies that form the whole of the infrasctructure support to LUL.  Metronet BCV Ltd provide the support for the Bakerloo, Central, Victoria and Waterloo City lines.

Client Requirement

Following the restructuring of LUL's asset management services (i.e the forming of the 4 infrastructure companies including Metronet BCV Ltd to perform maintenance and replacement of LUL assets) the new service providers required ISO 9001:2000 certification for their management systems.  We were engaged by Metronet BCV Ltd as part of a project team to develop the management systems focused on achieving ISO 9001:2000 certification.  Working alongside a team of business process analysts, this entailed the alignment of existing systems with new pocesses and facilitating their implementation throughout this large organisation.  Working within this highly regulated environment required a high level of understanding of the requirements of safety, quality and environmental management.  We were assigned to the Technical Capability Directorate who were responsible for the management of Assurance to LUL

What has been achieved

Certification to the Technical Capability Directorate was achieved and subsequent to this consultancy contract, we were engaged by Metronet BCV Ltd to develop training material for the Central Line Duty Engineer.
